| May 07, 2007 » | Windy City Wire Buys C.W. Cable | | | Windy City Wire and C.W. Cable have joined forces. The acquisition is effective May 7th, 2007. C.W. Cable, out of Kent, Washington, will be operating as a new Windy City Wire facility. Windy City Wire currently operates out of the following locations: Bolingbrook, IL; Secaucus, NJ; Tempe, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; and now Kent, WA. The new facility allows for faster and quicker service, covering a nationwide territory. C.W. Cable serves the Greater Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon areas. Benefits to the new customer base include the time saving features of SmartWire, 24 hour Ecommerce, same day shipping on SmartWire Select items and cable management capabilities with the SmartWire System Design Tool. | | |
