Windy City Wire understands the importance of your image. We understand how much time and effort is put forth everyday to build on and enhance your standing in the market place. This is why we package SmartWire the way we do. Don’t show up at your clients’ with a rag tag box or cheap plastic spool. SmartWire Boxes
Working closely with our packaging team, Windy City Wire has just recently reengineered our SmartWire boxes to increase their durability and strength. This redesign has led to improvements in stacking strength and crush resistance. Our new boxes will withstand a 275-lb. bursting test. Our previous boxes were rated to pass a 200-lb. test. In addition to the increased box strength, we have decided to move the support handle liner from the outside of the box to the inside, which adds extra reinforcement that will provide greater portability in the field.

SmartWire Spools
If your organization prefers to set up and pull spools of cable, Windy City Wire delivers the goods. SmartWire, packaged on wooden reels, with 1-1/2" arbor holes, is stronger and less prone to damage than either metal or plastic spools. This increased durability decreases the likelihood of damage during shipment or on the job site where a flange break would result in the loss of your wire, your time and your money. We also place an informative sticker on each reel detailing the features and benefits associated with the SmartWire product you ordered.
